A Mum-of-five, addicted to ice, will be deported back to England leaving her children behind.
Kelly Webb, from the Victorian city of Geelong, is expected to be sent back to the United Kingdom when she is released from jail this week, the Herald Sun reported.
The 31-year-old, who came to Australia as a child but was never naturalised, narrowly avoided deportation last year after promising to turn her life around.
Webb, originally from England, killed her stepfather with a kitchen knife and hockey stick when she was a teenager after a decade of ‘monstrous’ childhood abuse.
She was convicted of manslaughter and the court served her with a good behaviour bond after hearing details of what she had endured.
Ms Webb then began to use the drug ice and was served an 18-month jail term in 2014 for a burglary she committed when armed with a steak knife.
When she was released last year, Ms Webb avoided deportation after pleading with authorities to allow her to remain in Australia.
‘If I get charged with anything, I am back in the immigration centre and that’s not a risk I am going to take,’ she told the paper at the time.
In February, she was again before the courts facing a string of theft charges, including allegedly stealing from a liquor store while her child was with her, reports Daily Mail.
The court was told Ms Webb used crystal meth daily and had been avoiding authorities in fear she would be thrown out of the country, according to the paper.
Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton reportedly cancelled her visa this week. She does have the right to challenge the minister’s decision.
Ms Webb’s five young children, who are all understood to be in the care of family members, now face the prospect of growing up without their mother.
