Kate Hudson has shocked people with her admission that she thinks having a c-section was the laziest thing she has ever done.

Mum-of-two Kate Hudson, 38, covers the October issue of Cosmopolitan and opens up about her birth stories with sons Ryder, 13, and Bing, 6.

While filling out a survey as part of her feature story she revealed that the laziest thing she has ever done is, “Have a C-Section!”

Kate welcomed her elder son via caesarean section, while Bing was born via VBAC.

Since her candid comment, people have slammed the actress online.

As many of her fans have pointed out Kate is talking about HER OWN experience and E! News explains that Kate admits she was given the option to go home and labour a bit longer when she was induced  but she opted for a C-section to avoid any further run ins with the paparazzi who were hounding her.

So you can understand why Kate feels SHE chose the lazy way.

  • it is just a comment so why are people getting so offended! people are too touchy these days and need to get real! worse problems in the world than this, gee

  • Glad the media actually explained that it was Kate speaking about her own experience, rather than doing their usual thing and taking it out of context to demonise people.

  • She is talking about “her” decision to have a c-section as herself being lazy – she’s not saying that anyone who chooses to have a c-section is lazy

So important that people actually read the words /listen to the words said rather than reinterpret it to what they want to believe she said.

Who really cares, so what if people think it’s lazy, they don’t know why people opt for c-sections, some women don’t have a choice – I don’t think you can honestly comment about it as a generalised thing because everyone has different circumstances!

I think Kate Hudson is fine to voice her own opinion about her own experience/choice – others should respect that and move on!

  • I agree with previous comments, just her perspective on her own choice, which I can totally understand btw.

  • who cares, her belly, her baby, her choice, her health, her safety

    • Love your comment – your belly, your baby.

  • It was her choice and now its her regret. She didn’t say anywhere that C sections are a lazy choice, she said HER C section was a lazy choice.

  • In her situation it was the right choice for her at the time.

  • It certainly wasn’t lazy for me!! It was horrendous!! Haha ????
People need to calm down, it’s her opinion – she didn’t say anyone who has one is lazy.

  • I agree with the previous comments. This was her experience.

  • She explained the reasons why she said that. It was not meant for other women. Just her experience and her choice. For many women a c-section is the only option available.

  • It was a joke about her experience, not a comment on all women. Leave her alone.

  • It is only her opinion of her own situation and not a comment on all women and all c sections.
