Kmart has released 395 Christmas products at crazy low prices – 78 days before the big day. But you’ll have to get in quick!

Halloween is not yet upon us, but Kmart has already released its Christmas range, with trees, tinsel and baubles flying out of the store as customers scramble to get their hands on the discount decor.

The Rise Of The ‘Kmart Mum’

‘Kmart Mums’, as they are affectionately known, are the biggest culprits, already selecting their Christmas colour schemes, with the ever popular rose gold reigning supreme according to The Daily Mail.

“I don’t usually buy Christmas stuff until after Halloween but could not resist this buy today,” one Mum said of her $10 inflatable tinsel baubles. And who could blame her with Christmas trees for as little as $39, stockings at $5 and an advent calendar for a mere $7?

With Christmas undoubtedly the most expensive time of the year, saving a few dollars on items that will live in your roof space for the next eleven months seems like a smart idea to us! Even if we do still have two months until the big day…

Taking It To The Next Level

Some ‘Kmart Mums’ have taken their Christmas haul to the next level,  DIY’ing their own chimneys and wreaths to complement their purchases. One clever Mum created her very own ‘coastal wreath’ using a selection of decorative wooden pieces purchased from Kmart’s range for under $10. Another used a selection of $3 rolls of marble sheeting to create an incredible fireplace and mantlepiece, ready for Santa’s arrival on Christmas Eve. What a cute idea!

Even though November still feels a little early for buying rolls of Christmas wrapping paper, we have to take our hats off to these creative ‘Kmart Mums’! You put us to shame.
