Hello!

Forget wedding cakes or cupcakes, here’s something that will make your wedding centrepiece the talk of the town…

Krispy Kreme has just launched wedding doughnuts and they are absolutely gorgeous.

If you go the traditional route and serve fruit cake covered in Marzipan, you’ll find your guests divided. There are one or two with crazy taste-buds who can’t get enough. While most will take a polite nibble before stuffing the rest into a napkin. No wonder you get to save the top layer of cake for your first year anniversary – there’s so much left ’cause no-one wants to eat it.

Well, if you opt for the special edition bridal Krispy Kreme doughnuts, we guarantee there will be none left over to take home.

Celebrate With Doughnuts

The doughnut chain have announced their Wedding Dozen range on their website:

“Say ‘I do’, to doughnuts. Hand dipped and drizzled in creamy white chocolate truffle and finished with a sprinkle of white pearl sugar these doughnuts will be a unique and delicious addition to your special day.”

They also posted some tantalising pics on their Instagram page.

This custom-made product costs $35 per dozen with a minimum order quantity of 3 dozen.

The Celebrations range is available for order online. You could also pick an assorted ‘Doughnut Cake Pack’ of the brands most popular doughnuts for $60 and a tray of twelve assorted doughnuts for $26.95 to create your own doughnut wall.

  • The wedding cake looks great, but not for me. However, weddings are different now to when I was married, so I think almost anything goes. It does look lovely and tasteful. And if you’re a couple of loves donuts, well I guess it’s personal and appropriate.
