A 27-YEAR-OLD man has vowed to sue his parents for giving birth to him without his consent as he compares all births to “kidnap and slavery”.

Raphael Samuel said he had a “great relationship” with his parents but that just didn’t make up for the injustice of the birth to begin with.

The Mumbai resident is an anti-natalist – meaning he believes it is wrong to put an unwilling child through the trials and tribulations of life for the pleasure of its parents, reported the Sun.

Speaking to The Print, Samuel said he loved his parents but “they had me for their joy and their pleasure.

“My life has been amazing, but I don’t see why I should put another life through the rigamarole of school and finding a career, especially when they didn’t ask to exist.”

“A good parent puts the child above its wants and needs… but the child itself is a want of the parent.”

Other anti-natalist activists also argue that having children is a strain on Earth’s resources and environment.

A fellow activist Pratima Naik, said: “We don’t want to impose our beliefs on anyone, but more people need to consider why having a child in the world right now isn’t right.”

  • What an asset to the World this little darling is.

  • I’d be ok with him never being born!

  • This is totally ridiculous. How can you ask a child if they want to be born? He could always start the trend by not having any children himself.

  • Somehow I can’t see this one getting to court.

  • He sounds so absurd and just trying to grab attention seeking headlines.

  • Whaaaat how is this even possible?! Bet his parents regret having him now. What a slap in the face!

  • What an absolutely ridiculous argument. A joke really. Let’s not give him any air time. He clearly has a problem being here so let’s not highlight him.

  • It is seriously stupid!!!!

  • I think that suing his parents is probably more about the exposure that his beliefs will get.
I don’t know what the ‘right’ amount is, but I do know that having more children is indeed only for the parents want and not about the benefits for the child. I am one of ten children and it angers me when parents continue to have lots of children. There is a point where there simply isn’t enough time to give a child the attention that they need from the parents.

  • This is impossible, so a bit silly really.

  • I agree with the overpopulation comments. I don’t see how you can do anything about getting a child’s consent before they’re born.

  • The anti natalists do have some valid points. Yes having children does put a strain on the environment, as it’s already in danger. And yes, some parents have kids because they want them. Only to love, cherish and raise them. I dont think they want them to
But how can the parents get consent of their child before they were born??? How are the parents are to that know how he feels now? Too sue his own parents.

  • The ridiculousness has reached a whole new level apparently hahahaha. He’s not wrong about overpopulating the planet or even about why parents have kids but to sue his parents? What kind of court would entertain that kind of stupidity?

  • Lol ! Well that’s a different opinion :)
