TV Chef Pete Evans has pushed a new anti-vax podcast, urging his followers to ask questions about vaccination and medicine.

Posting yesterday on social media he shared links to the podcast of anti-vax parent and exercise coach Paul Chek as he interviewed a fellow anti-vaxxer, osteopath Sherri Tenpenny.

In the podcast, Dr Tenpenny, who is well-known in the US for her views, shared provocative opinions about the intellectual superiority of unvaccinated children, and argued that all doctors are uneducated about vaccines.

“One of the most important podcasts to listen to. Thanks @paul.chek for asking the questions that need to be asked about vaccines and medicine,” Evans wrote.

Many of Pete’s 1.5million+ fans went crazy on social media, thanking him for sharing the info.

Dr Tenpenny, who has written two books urging people to steer clear of vaccines, says she doesn’t recall immunisation ever being discussed while she was in medical school.

Dr Tenpenny and Mr Chek discuss their opinions on how non-vaccinated children go on to be intellectually superior to those who are vaccinated; Dr Tenpenny says her chiropractor told her that vaccinated kids seem “messed up”.

Doctors warn Pete Evans to stick to cooking!

The head of the Australian Medical Association has warned celebrity chef Pete Evans should stick to cooking and not spread misinformation about vaccinations, reports The Guardian.

The Australian Medical Association president, Dr Tony Bartone, said celebrity chefs should stick to cooking, not spreading unproven medical advice.

“When it comes to cooking, Pete Evans might be an expert, but his misinformation about vaccination is a recipe for disaster,” he said in a statement.

“He should leave the medical advice to the experts and keep quiet about matters he has no skills, experience or expertise in.”

The media has certainly not held back, lashing out against the celebrity chef sharing such views

  • That’s the kind of thing I’d expect from Pete Evans. His book gave some seriously dangerous advice about feeding young children too.

  • I love his cooking and his paleo diet, but I don’t agree with his views on vaccines or sunscreen or feeding babies bone broth instead of milk

  • As long as his kids don’t go near anyone else then fine, but if they go to school, sports etc then get them immunised. Why should my kids suffer for anothers silly ideas?

  • Pete, stick to cooking. That’s all please.

  • He seems very dangerous when ever he ventures away from cooking.

  • Why don’t people look at the facts? Pete is only discussing and questioning, there is nothing wrong with this. If you look at the Thalidomide children of the past who’s mum’s were giving “safe” medication and see how much testing was done then and still not much better now, we need to question whether vaccines are safe, we need more discussion, more information regarding the ingredients, and more talking about those children who have been effected from vaccines. This is what free speech is about, Pete is trying to get people to talk about it. There are many many experts in immunology (and doctors) who have been suggesting there needs to be changes in the way vaccines are made and administered but they are shut down by the trillion dollar industry of big pharma. It is all about the money and children are having way too many unnecessary vaccines. We need to curb the insane increases and only do what is actually proven to work and if you research it properly there are very few proper trials and research done and none done on un-vaccinated children. More transparency is needed.

  • Sure, it’s important to ask questions – but you then have to evaluate the answers critically! Anti vaxxers wouldn’t get traction if mre people did this.

  • Please stop with the nonsense we could easily eradicate so many diseases in this world yet people who are misinformed and are persuaded by these people are not helping

  • Not all people with the title “Dr” are medical Doctors nor do they profess to be one unless they are grossly dishonest. The only people who should be wary of vaccinaions is if there is special medical situations such as allergies that endangers their life if vaccinated with a particular substance.

  • I watch MKR and love watching Pete and Manu and he can have free speech!

  • This “Dr” says “she doesn’t recall immunisation ever being discussed while she was in medical school”… probably because she get her qualifications out of a Cornflakes box. Dangerous misinformation. If she was a real doctor, she should go and look after some of the poor unvaccinated children on the paediatric wards victims of their parents stupidity and at risk of dying or being incapacitated from preventable infectious diseases. The AMA should revoke her licence.

  • Pete Evans is known for being anti everything that doctors recommend so this should come as no surprise.

  • It’s really bad when people in prominent positions promote this kind of stuff!!!

  • Sadly disappointed Pete, more so with your fans who are supporting you and following your opinions. How dare he suggest doctors should be more informed about vaccines, I would say doctors are the most informed when it comes to medicines!

  • I never liked Pete Evans. Even less now that he promotes anti-vaxxers!

    • I was going to donate his two cookbooks I received last Christmas but didn’t want to promote him in anyway. I recycled his books – that’s all their good for, being refurbished into something better!
