Megan Gale has welcomed her second child with fiancé Shaun Hampson.

Megan Gale took to Instagram to announce she had given birth to a baby girl.

The couple share a son together, three-year-old River. They have not yet announced a name for their baby girl.

“WHEN 3 BECOMES 4. Our darling little bun came out of the oven earlier this week,” Gale, 42, wrote.

“Sweet little soul. You are already so blessed. Healthy as can be with a family that has fallen head over heels in love with you. A big brother that is already so attentive and protective, (who has also handled all these big changes like a boss ) a Dad who is so smitten with you and that you already have firmly wrapped around your little finger. And myself, who’s been so lucky to have carried you in my belly for 9 months and to have had the pleasure and privilege of birthing you into this world (and can I just say .. we nailed it kid ).

I’m so committed to being the absolute best mother, friend and role model for you. Thank you for choosing me to be your Mama, my darling girl.”

Megan today shared the first picture of her new baby, confirming that a name has not yet been decided. “Hard to believe a week has passed since we welcomed our precious girl into the world and our lives. This photo was taken exactly a week ago while I was enjoying my first cuddle with her. She is yet to be officially named but we’re getting close.”

She has a name!

Megan has shared an update on Instagram to announce the sweet name of her baby girl a week after her birth.

Meet little “Rosie May Dee Hampson”.

Megan writes, “We were lucky we had so many great names for this little girl. We just wanted to be really sure that it was the one for her. This was a name I had really liked initially when I was pregnant , Shaun wasn’t a fan so I’d crossed it off the list and we focused only on one other name that we both liked.

Then when she was born Shaun said she really suited Rosie but we still weren’t 100% and also still keen on some of the other names too. Talk about indecisiveness! Anyway, yesterday we stared long and hard at her while she was snoozing and it just all came together. No other name seemed to suit her more than Rosie.

And the name has a beautiful significance too, much like River’s. Rosie is a nod to my Nana (Dad’s Mum, Rosella), May is my Mum’s name, Dee is Shaun’s Mum’s name and obviously Hampson, the family name from Tom, Shaun’s Dad.”
