Hello!

“My 4 and a half year old son keeps getting furuncle’s in his nose (staph or strep infections aka school sores that turn into boils). He’s had both types of impetigo since 9months of age apparently due to his ezcemia and up until a 6months ago they were only on his face around his nose and I always got to them before it hit 2-3blisters. Now its progressed to inside his nose 3 times. The second I didn’t realise b/coz they are painless?, he never said anything so it became infected jst on the surface, but antibiotics didn’t work quick enough so it turned into cellulitis (infection in the skin tissue) that was 2months ago. He’s now gotten them back but my paranoia seen it so we went to the dr. I’ve asked for a referral to a pediatrician and our local gp refused, said he wanted to try this treatment first… Should I persist for a pedi or try this first? I’ve pulled him out of kindy now and he can’t afford to miss to much more schooling, I had a hard enough time sending him prior. My 8 and a half month old has gotten school sores twice now in recent wks already, I’m pregnant with our 3rd child due in Oct so we def don’t need any more of infections or added stress… Any advise please??” Do you have any advice for nasal infection treatments?
