Any recommendations on maternity hospitals in Berwick (Victoria)?

Hello!

My husband & I are absolutely overjoyed…. I am 5 weeks pregnant for the first time! I have only lived in Berwick, Victoria for 3 years and would really appreciate any advice on the maternity hospitals locally. Also any other advice on local maternity support facilities would be so appreciated!!

Hi there, thank you so much for your answer. I really appreciate it. I will research with Casey Hospital asap as my husband & I are trying to go down a bit more of the economical route!

Hi, I’m going to the private hospital ‘Saint John of God’ on Gib street. They are known for their fantastic maternity service. Casey hospital (not private) in Berwick was my second choice, but they are fully booked at the moment. As you are only 5 weeks, I’d highly recommend getting in early if you want a public hospital like Berwick Casey. Otherwise there is Dandenong hospital, Frankston Hospital or Monash. Which are all a bit of a hike for us living in Casey. But Monash is probably the best public hospital for set up for high risk mums/pregnancies. My OB is in Berwick, she is private and I know there are many in Casey. Your GP can give you a list for your upcoming referral.
