  • Our 9 month old has just started with some finger food snacks – smushed up raspberries, peas and peices of banana

  • Frozen grapes in a fruit teether

  • Fruit sticks, carrot, celery sticks, yogurt, rice crackers.

  • My little one loves rice crackers, rice cakes, bits of fruit in bite size pieces, cheese , yoghurt squeezy pouches, plain biscuits, sandwiches, baked/crumbed chicken or fish into bite sized pieces, mini quiche, spinach and ricotta puffs, musesli bar

  • The Heinz kiddy muesli bars they have in the baby food aisle of the supermarket.

  • Great suggestions

  • Toast, banana, cheese sticks, arrowroot biscuit, there are also some puffed wholegrain snacks called Nutrios made by Heinz that my little boy loves they are made with whole ground corn and rice and pumpkin powder.

  • Yoghurt, small pieces of fresh fruit, and maybe a rusk

  • My kids loved dried banana

  • I used to like giving my children some dry ‘cruskits’ biscuits and they could suck them then eat them and these are reasonably healthy

  • Any soft fruits cut into small cubes/ pieces. Dry toasted bread sticks, Sultanas n raisins, Carrot sticks. Have some carrot sticks in the freezer or fridge and give it straight from there if teething….soothes and feeds both.

  • There are some terrific ideas for snacks on this site; most are quick and easy and good too.

  • Theres a sections for baby foods on this site, also heinz, coles, annabel karmel websites might have some ideas – it depends how many teeth your bub has or how good they are with chewing. Ie my friends son could eat a whole apple when he was under 1 but my 1.5yr will not even attempt it. Soft fruits strawberries, banana, melon are great. Fruit toast, mini quiches

  • We do yoghurt
    Carrot sticks
    Sandwhich fingers
    Soft fruit bars
And we also use cheese sticks like bega stringers etc

  • not really, but you could try baby mum mums, fruit toast, milk biscuit
