Hello!

We’re about to head off on our very first family cruise and I was wondering if anyone had any hints/tips or ideas of what you “must pack” to make this the best experience ever.

  • I hope you had lots of fun on your family cruise.

  • Oh you lucky people! I would love to go on a cruise. If you pick a family friendly ship, you’ll find lots of activities on board for the kids. It’s wonderful

  • I have may people around me who has been lucky to go on cruises and one of the many tips was to make sure you are prepared if you do get travel sickness. Apparently the prescribed meds such as Stemetil is great to use before you go and will relief nausea and dizziness . Also pack light and comfy clothes sand bring a jacket as it could get cold esp in the evenings. Have fun on the cruiuse .

  • Clothes that are good for layering.

  • Pack as light as you possibly can, but always have a jacket/jumper for everyone. The evenings can get quite chilly. Book your onboard dinner reservations early . Also, take a bag of uncrystalised ginger with you – this helps with any slight sea sickness. Hope you have a wonderful time.
