it’s terrible – I’ve got l4/l5 and l5/s1. Some pilates exercises can help you to strengthen the muscles. I’ve also been told that in some circumstances if a doctor gives you a referral you can receive physio sessions under medicare which is also worth looking into. I do core strengthening exercises but you need to be careful as it depends on what the injury is up to as to whether or not it is a good idea to exercise in this fashion. Maybe also ask about a TEMS machine.
