I’m looking for a quote or something on the lines of asking 5 friends to sign up for pay it forward I will do something nice throughout the year for them and they in turn must do something nice for someone else. Anyone suggest how I could word this to use on my Facebook page?

  • I would suggest using the words in in your question for your pay it forward idea. Pay it forward sites are simple in messaging and your quote could be too.

  • How did your pay it forward initiative go?

  • That’s really nice. I would just explain what you want to do. :)

  • what a nice thing I have not heard about this before.

  • this is a great idea and a really nice thing to do for your friends

  • Why not just say that? You don’t need a fancy quote.

  • I saw this one recently – you could adapt it to suit.

“To start this year off in a loving way I’m participating in the Pay-it-Forward initiative… The first five people who comment on this status with “I’m in” will receive a surprise from me at some point in this calendar year- anything from a book, a ticket, a visit, something home-grown or made, a postcard, absolutely any surprise! There will be no warning and it will happen when the mood comes over me and I find something that I believe would suit you and make you happy. These five people must make the same offer in their FB status and distribute their own joy. Simply copy this text onto your profile, (don’t share) so we can form a web of connection and kindness. Let’s do more nice and loving things for each other in 2015, without any reason other than to make each other smile and show that we think of each other.”

  • There are so many that you could read on the net. Google Pay it forward and search the images, there are so many!
    I like this one:
Pay it Forward, its about Caring and Sharing. Its about Compassion and Kindness. Its about Generosity. Its about Sacrifice and Love. You get what you give, so give good.
