Hello!

I was wondering does anyone have the kenwood Kcook or similar machine to the Thermomix and if so which machine is it and is it really good?
Also what to look out for when purchasing such a machine? (i.e. good and bad points)
thanks

  • My girlfriend is very happy with her Belini… I personally do not use one, another mate has a thermomix and she said nothing compares to it. Loves it

  • I have heard the Bellini is a good machine, a few friends have them!

  • Following this post as I’m interested too.

  • I am saving up to by the Bellini so very happy to see so many positive comments.

  • Love the feedback on the machines – might look too.

  • I have a thermo mix and a friend the Bellini. They do pretty much the same thing, just the thermo is is a little less fiddly and has a bit more power. I bought mine secondhand to save money.

  • I’ve just looked up the suggestions below of the Bellini and it looks great. they have brought out a new model which is very tempting to buy!

  • One of the tv shows – maybe today tonight – did a review on all of the thermo type devices a while back, maybe google it. Choice mag might have reviewed it also. I was very taken with the phillips one (a lot of recipes on this site) but never purchases one

  • I have a HotmixPro Gastro – It can cook to a higher temperature than a Thermomix which is good for toffees etc but is more expensive. It is primarily made for small commercial kitchens.

  • Interested to read the answers and reviews. Is it cheaper?

  • I have alot of friends who have bought Bellini’s too and they say they’re every bit as good as a thermomix. I personally have no clue about either of them haha

  • A friend of mine has a Bellini. (not sure if the spelling is correct). It is “magic”. You can even cook a few recipes in it. She uses it a lot, perhaps not every day, but at least once or twice a week.

  • You could look up reviews online or through Choice? Ultimately, you may be better using what you already have – I have been caught with cooking appliance desire before. They are appealing though.
