Xbox have some great educational games

My son plays Trials Fusion on the Xbox one it’s a motorbike racing type game

I agree with the sports and car racing games. Quite entertaining for the adults too.. You might find yourself playing on the Xbox with them!

little big planet- there are a few in that series now but they are cute games and it makes the child problem solve. Not a bad game for an adult to play with them. The kids can also design stages to play and they might enjoy that as an extra part to the game. My kids love it and plus it has some 50’s goodies for the music that is on it. It also doesn’t need to be connected to the internet to play but if you do take the game online, you can only play on other people’s stages that they have designed but you don’t actually talk to strangers so that is comforting.

X-Box has amazing car racing games.They are fantastic!

my kids play ones that are about car racing and skiing also there is one about a shark eating little fish. (but the last one might not be quite what you are after)

my kids enjoy the sport games, fifa, world cup cricket etc or otherwise car racing games etc. go into ebgames or similar and you will see there is a huge selection of non violent games.
