  • Everyday uses include relieving headache, reducing swelling, and reducing a fever. Taken daily, aspirin can lower the risk of cardiovascular events, such as a heart attack or stroke, in people with a high risk.
I haven’t heard of Asprin improving sleep, in fact Aspirin and ibuprofen disrupted sleep in comparison to placebo by increasing the number of awakenings and percentage of time spent in stage wake, and by decreasing sleep efficiency. Ibuprofen also delayed the onset of the deeper stages of sleep.

  • I use asprin for a number of auto immune diseases. Ive never heard it being used to help sleep. Theres nothing in asprin that would aid sleep or make you drowsy. Like others id reccomend seeing a GP

  • nope, maybe you should go and see your gp

  • no i know people who take it for thinning the blood etc but not to help promote sleep

  • Aspirin is a non drowsy pain relief medication. It probably isn’t very useful as a sleep, unless you are awake due to pain, and in that case you should probably seek advice from a GP.

  • No. I take magnesium, one hour before going to bed.
