My daughter had it at birth as part of a medical trial and it took a long time to heal, a couple of months and scarred quite bad.

It’s always good when you get told the worst and then nothing happens. So glad this was a good experience for BUB.

No reactions here either. I think they tell you what could happen just to warn you so you don’t come running back if it takes that long to heal!

I never got that warning when getting my son’s vaccs – in fact I’d be a little worried and disinclined to go through with it if I had; I haven’t heard of anyone taking 12 weeks to get over a vaccination (unless they’ve had a severe reaction).

My little one was a little tender for a few days. They tend to give you the worst case scenario so parents aren’t running to the hospital every 5 minutes thinking something is wrong!

One of my children had a red lump for a couple of days, and that’s all!
