Hello!

I was wondering if there was such a thing as pants for after a c-section that sit way lower on your hips/legs so they don’t irritate the scar and stitches. Any info would be great thanks.

  • I found loose trackies did the trick. The scar is quite low so doesn’t irritate- also high waist undies!

  • I found the bigger clothing i wore whilst pregnant was perfect because it sat above my scar and helped me feel secure!

  • I haven’t heard of any.. I just wore my maternity clothing so that the band of pants sat about my scar and they weren’t tight and didn’t put pressure on my stomach

  • There are nike pant type post birth pants that you can get called recovery shorts that are supposed to be good for this

  • I haven’t heard of any, I just wore soft leggings.

  • I get really stretchy pants for home so u can move them how u want

  • I wore leggings/trackpants after my C section. Yoga pants are also good and you can roll the top down.

  • I have never heard of any, I always just work a lose dress or skirt when I had mine. it healed well and wasn’t that painful really. I took hot showers twice a day to help with loosening up the wound area and bathed wound in saline solution daily also
