  • I had this problem when I was really unwell & I was advised to use coconut oil. Just apply to your hair & keep it on as long as possible. Once applied & massaged in I put my hair up in a shower cap & had a towel folded onto my pillow so it didn’t mark it & left it on overnight. My hair was really oily of course but once washed out it was in great healthy condition & stopped falling out as much after just two applications which I did once a week for two weeks. I was told that islanders do this so their hair is shiny & healthy too.

  • I would suggest visiting a Naturopath

  • I suggest a Dr visit to start with. A simple blood test could be all that’s needed to fix your problem

  • Is there a medical reason for your hair falling out? If you haven’t got a diagnosis, I would start with a Dr visit. Have you got bald patches from hair loss? If not, it’s probably nothing to worry about. We are meant to lose so many hairs from our heads every day

  • try to massage your scalp to promote blood flow.

  • My hair has always been like this as well- I got to the point that I thought I would end up with big bald spots I was losing so much. But it hasn’t even thinned out at all.
I’ve spoken to hairdressers and doctors who have all assured me it’s perfectly normal, unless you’re losing massive chunks.
I don’t really like wearing my hair out, and when I do i have to give it a good brush beforehand otherwise I’ve got strands of hair stuck to my back.
My hair is quite long though, so they seem to get stuck on EVERYTHING!

  • I would go to the GP and maybe ask for a blood test. Hair falling out can be due to a variety of reasons, and it’s always best to get it checked.
