  • I would use seperate boards but if you have too cut up the veg first, clean thoroughly and then do the meat.

  • I would recommend against it but if you are going to use the same board I would save the meat for last.

  • Sure you can: ONLY if you cut veg veg first then meat..

  • you could if you wash well but I wouldn’t, I would just use a new one personally

  • No! Contamination risk! Just get a separate board for meat and don’t use wood for meat.

  • no it could make you sick

  • Unless it was made of glass and rinsed well between usage, then no.

  • no, you are contaminating your veg with bacteria from your meat

  • You shouldn’t do this, as you can still get food contamination- but that said, If i have no chopping board left, I wash it and flip it over. That way at least I’m not using the same side:)

  • i do, wash well or bleach in between

  • I use the same board but always do my vegies or salad first, then I clean the board and use it for whatever meat I am preparing.

  • It would be safer to buy coloured coded cutting boards

  • You could but I would,t I have mine colour coded green veg blue seafood yellow chicken red meat. If you have to give good scrub as you said rinse with white vinegar Cleanest way to clean them is in a dish washer as I do not owe one I clean mine rinse with vinegar and every week wash in one part bleach ten parts water.

  • I use the same one White vinegar is a good cleaning agent

  • I use one for both – I have a bamboo chopping board. The only thing I particularly worry about is raw chicken but I just make sure its scrubbed really well with really hot water and soap afterwards.
