  • Not sure why you would feel needing to wash scotchguarded fabric???

  • If you intend to wash couch covers then its pointless in scotchguarding as the idea is if a spill occurs it is suppose to repel the liquid and then you can just wipe it up. If wiping doesn’t work that means the spray is not working on that material or you didn’t spray enough . Maybe ring the consumer hotline for advice if there is one on the can ….

  • If they’re scotch guarded, they shouldn’t be dirty, why would you want to wash them? I would say it’s quite safe tho

  • I did and it was fine!

  • How did you end up going?

  • I’m not sure on this one, but I hope you found the answer you were looking for!

  • How did it go were you successful

  • Some ppl come up with great ideas on here! I might even try them

  • Yes but you may have to re-apply the scotchguard

  • Make sure you apply as soon as the items dry

  • I think it washes it off. not 100% sure..

  • Get a can of scotchgard and reapply after washing and drying :)

  • You can wash them but will have to reapply a scotchgaurd

  • yes you can, but you would need to scotchguard them again, as long as the fabric is washable or dry cleanable.

  • You will have to re scotchguard them. Use a gentle detergent too, such as lux flakes or woolmix.
