To be honest I would have hose it off as soon as it happened, as the longer you leave the stain in – the more permanent it becomes.

Cold water and bathroom soap- careful of hot or warm water as this could set the stain.

If you can move it outside, I’d try cleaning it with a brush and applying lemon juice. Wash it off after a few minutes and let it dry thoroughly in the sun. good luck.

My mother in law had the same problem, cant remember what she spilled but she managed to get it clean with a steam cleaner but it was still discoloured so we oiled the entire thing so it was all the same darker colour.

Try a little salt in water and brush over the stain with a broom. Allow to dry, this should lift the stain. As its natural it shouldn’t affect the fibers. Ive done this one my outside mat after beating the dust out of it. Hope this helps.

Not sure sorry, maybe gently hose it and spray lemon juice on it and leave in the sun.?

Maybe a steam cleaner like the Bissell will do the job?
