Hello!

I’ve bought creams but found that my daughter’s eczema responds to ointments better. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

  • There a quite a few over the counter ointments for eczema. It’s all about finding what product works best for your daughter. You should also try changing what you use to wash her as well as what you use to wash your laundry. It all helps. There are even dietary changes you can make that have shown improvements

  • It’s ok to try some things over the counter or naturally but to be honest I think that real eczema is something you go with to the doctor and possible to the Dermatologist or when you prefer the natural remedies go to a Naturopath.

  • i have been hearing amazing things about Emu Oil for Eczema

  • There is an over the counter cream made by Ego, you may even find it in supermarkets. QV cream is a good help too

  • “Hopes Relief” they have an incredible skin cream made from natural ingredients.

  • This one is a cream but everyone who I have recommended it to has found it worked wonders. “Nourish”, it’s available at the chemist and supermarket, smells great and have not heard a bad word about it.

  • Speak to the girls at national pharmacies they are very helpful & a very good source of information

  • yes there are some very good ones that can be bought from Priceline

  • What did you end up buying? Did it work as my niece gets it really bad.

  • Your best bet is probably taking your daughter to the chemist and asking the pharmacist for their suggestions. They will be able to show you one that’s suited to your daughters situation.

  • You won’t get a better product than Caroline’s Creams. It’s a small business based in Western Australia, and the products are brilliant at treating eczema, psoriasis, acne, dermatitis and dry skin. Go to carolineskin.com.au & check out their products. They’re also happy to send some samples out to you so you can try them.

  • what did you end up doing

  • there are some good comments here

  • sorry hun u will have 2 head to the dr

  • Bioderma Atoderm works for me and i have heard some very positive things from people that have really bad skin issues. I think most chemists stock this but you can get it on sale from time to time at priceline
