  • Mom400215 I love the looks of a messy bun !

  • I haven’t yet but I’m tempted, as I never have time to do anything with it other than throw it up in a messy bun

  • No my hair is longer since I’ve kids. Before kids I used to go over my head with the clippers !

  • No, though I did start wearing it in a ponytail a lot.

  • Nope, I just tied it back out of the way. I do know some mums who got sick of bub yanking on their hair who ended up having it all chopped off. It all depends on the individual

  • Yes after four years I have finally for the first time cut my hair to shorter than my shoulders and actually quite like it though it’s a bit short and xant wait for it to grow out

  • I definitely did and have had it short ever since. However, my daughter in laws both kept their long hair after becoming Mums. They often wear it in a ponytail or up. I think it is an individual thing, depending on what makes u feel good.

  • Cut it short when the kids got headlice in year 2 and I wasn’t sure whether I had it or not and wanted to try combing/conditioning etc. everyday just in case… and long hair didn’t workout so easily for such daily ‘treatment’ so I cut it.. haven’t looked back!

  • I wasn’t allowed to have hair past my collar as a kid, so once I left home I grew it. It’s been past my bum for many years now

  • My hair has been long all my life – I considered cutting it with the arrival of my twins 10 years ago but I think it is easier long. I can always just plait it or put it in a bun. No blow drying or styling required.

  • Nope. I’ve had long hair since I left home. Dad didn’t let me have long hair as a kid so I made up for it when I left home and grew it down to my bottom

  • All hair requires maintenance – whether long or short. It depends very much on your lifestyle and the time spent on styling.

  • With four kids I’ve had short & long hair depending whenever I get sick of it. It’s quicker to wash, dry & brush when short and easy to just put in a bun when long.

  • I like to change hairstyles all of the time – just for change and to try out styles. Long, short and then back again.
