  • No support from family as we were located in a different country

  • I was completely unsupported. As a teenage mother my family were of the attitude “you made your bed now lie in it”. I think it gave me the courage to parent the way I wanted. 28 years on and my children are wonderful adults so even though it was tough they grew up knowing they are loved and I’ll always be there for them

  • I had minimal family support

  • It was pretty much just me and my husband. Didn’t receive a lot of help from either side of the family.

  • My mum lived an hours drive away when I was expecting and delivered my first bub. But I had no help from her apart from some baby gifts

  • i had support of people nearest and dearest to me.

  • My first I was overseas and no family around.

  • I lived abroad so no family around. Not mine, not my husband’s. But it wasn’t a problem at all.
