Hello!

Sorry in advance if TMI BUT hubby and I have been trying for addition number 3 to our family. We’ve obviously been there done that a couple of times already. Due to having crazy cycles it’s hard to pinpoint anything but I know from personal experience I ovulate early in my cycle (earlier then what the text books say). IfI to wait until my period is due to test, I could be waiting anywhere up to another 4 weeks, however about 3 days after ‘the deed’ I woke up and notice I was leaking a little milk and have been ever since in varying degrees. Hubby says he knows I’m pregnant. I have a feeling I am too but the jury is out for a little while longer (Let the waiting game begin :-) ). So I am just wondering 2 things. 1) if anyone else has had EARLY signs of being pregnant and 2) Do you think it is possible to ‘just know’ that you are? P.S I’m just interested from an adults point of view, I’m not asking if you think I am pregnant or not.

  • I’ve been pregnant 3 times. For the first Yes I knew I was as we had been planning to. I woke in the middle of the night and my nips felt weird lol
With my other 2 I had no idea as I still had my monthly cycle as usual – both were ectopic and required surgery.

  • Yes i knew cause I had tender nipples and ate things I usually don’t in large large amounts.

  • I definetly knew with all four pregnancies. My tell take signs were being put off chicken and onions (strange I know) and my breast would get bigger right away and being small framed by belly would pop out straight away especially with subsequent pregnancies. Apart from physical changes, I did just know in my gut so I totally believe that it’s possible for you to just know. Good luck and wish you all the best.

  • oh hell yeah! sore boobs, sore boobs, sore boobs…. the best preggy tip ever

  • I was vomiting with my 2 boys before I could get a positive test. But with all 4 kids I already knew. I just did, I can’t even explain it but I knew.

  • I think yes do can “know”. I was so hungry all the time when I fell pregnant like doubly hungry. My boobs were sore and my tummy had started to harden (if that makes sense). No sign or morning sickness until I did a pregnancy test that confirmed it. Then bam its like well now its official the morning sickness kicked in.

    Fingers crossed for you.

  • Nope no idea, I found out I was pregnant during a scan as they thought I may have had cancer or a tumour. I have PCOS so my cycles are crazy, I actually hadn’t had a period for 3 months before I fell pregnant. When they discovered my pregnancy I was 20 weeks and 3 days, no signs or symptoms. I had her 3 weeks and 3 days early so it was a very short pregnancy and a shock lol

  • No idea with second baby, my fertility doctor called me to tell me he knew why I hadn’t had a period….because I was already pregnant.

  • Temperature can be a useful indicator

  • I didnt ‘know’ until i did a pregnancy test, had a feeling but that was because my period was 3 weeks late, although reckon that after youve had one baby you know the symptoms better. good luck

  • I didn’t ‘know’ that I was pregnant. I had been taking my temperature to track when I was ovulating and from memory I think it is high when you ovulate and then lowers once finished. When you’re pregnant I think the temperature stays high and that was one indication to me that I might have been pregnant. I waited until my period was due and then waited another week just in case before I took the test.

  • And…closely followed by copius amount of illness…vomiting!

  • Eating enough food for a football team and being excessively tired and sleeping when not eating=YES! I knew! ;) Trust your own instincts! :)

  • Some people know, and you have been pregnant before so you know what to look for.

    FX that you are!

  • I knew with my first, went to the doctor and had an early test done but came back negative. I knew it had to be wrong, i could just feel i was pregnant. Certain smells irritated me, my breasts were sore and a few other things. Sure enough after my actual missed period i went back and the tests were positive.
