I always make resolutions and love to work hard on them all year? Do other mums do this too?

  • No. I just aim to be a little bit better at whatever matters most to me (health, family interactions, etc).



  • No I don’t. I think you should always try to improve on yourself and your lifestyle – not just on the new year.



  • Every year I’ve made a handful and and ended the year mostly fulfilling them, but last year was just so full on and overwhelming I’ve decided to roll with it this year and not make any at all……



  • No. For years I set them with the best of intentions but constantly didn’t follow through ….not always my decision. So now I don’t bother other than the vague hope that I’ll be more organised this year.



  • Yes, I just created a vision board yesterday with what I’d like to do. Mainly organizing the house, keep my weight on track, move more, read more, find ways to make my life easier.



  • I did last year and held to it, but I haven’t made any this year.



  • I have made some and would love to keep them up!



  • I haven’t made one this year but I often do.



  • I love setting resolutions and goals because I love to challenge myself and show determination.



  • Kind of unofficially. I have a goal in mind of being more active and being healthier, not letting my social anxiety stop me from going out and doing activities with my kids, and having confidence in myself to succeed, including in the home business I am trying to get going.



  • I try to make them and stick to them, and most years I do ok. This year I have made a resolution to stress less, get fitter and also to take more time for me. I really want to change these things, so I hope I can stick to them!



  • I find it very hard to keep them, so thinking it was not worth it this year.



  • Yes. I like resolutions. Some I’ve kept to better than others. I was thinking of having several this year, and not always have to do the same thing each day. I wonder if it will work, or be too flexible?! Or perhaps I’ll end up doing the easiest thing most often! Some ideas were i) to skip with a rope every day, so long as not got a hurt foot etc.; 2) eat my favourite junk food on just 1 day a week (as those ‘in moderation’ foods should be); 3) make the most of time with family.



  • I am already powering along with my resolutions!



  • This is the first year I haven’t made a resolution. I don’t tend to stick to them for very long.
