This happened with one of my kids but not the others – I think it’s more about them just being the right age for it.

Some babies have 2 teeth appear very close together in time. Others have at least 2 weeks or more.

Teething is totally unpredictable. My kids came through one at a time, but the matching pair wasn’t too dark behind the first. My niece had her ‘fangs’ cone through first, which was weird to look at, but created some comical photos to look back on

Yes for my kids. My daughters instantly for two weeks at a time popped out pairs. With in 3 months had a mouth full of teeth.
My son is in the process of popping them out and has 4 coming out all at once.

It seems to be the case. A pair of teeth usually erupt within days of each other with my two. My littlest is currently getting her two eye-teeth after having gotten the middle bottom two together and the middle top teeth together.
