Hello!

I can see some red rashes on my bub’s skin – is it because of the weather change ? Or it can be eczema?

  • My eczema always get worse in the winter because of dryness and cracks and bad healing, in the summer my skin heals better. However my youngest who’s very sensitive for heat has far more rashes in the summer and frequently breaks out in heat rashes.

  • It could be heat rash or a number of other things. See if it persists and if so see a GP.

  • Yes, my eczema always got worse in the winter. Always good to have eczema or rashes checked with the doctor.

  • In short.., yes. Personally I find the colder the months the more irritated as I rug up and feel really cold my body actually overheats. Not to mention the constant heat pump that dries everything out.

If bub has a rash best to just get the GP or child health nurse to have a look, depending on age could also be a food intolerance.

  • yeah possibly but i agree with heidi about getting it checked by a professional.

  • Could be either. I would take bub to the Dr or pharmacist
