  • I grow my own veges where I can, and herbs. I also shop at farmers markets, and have regulars I go to, that I know are local. Cheaper than shops!

  • Yes, I budget for organic food where I can. It can get expensive but I figure it is better for us in the long run.

  • yeah try to grow your own if you could be bothered but if you go to your local market, you can get cheaper organic food.

  • Like someone else suggested farmers markets are good, especially to help support locals, but last year I grew my a few of my own things in a veggie patch. Things like a mixed salad you can pick as you need it, and grows easily and quickly. Asian greens are another one that grow quickly and with little effort. I often question whether or not supermarket products are ligitimately organic, so I tend to avoid them, particularly since they are usually steeply priced.

  • It depends on which fruit and veggies look better!

  • I don’t. I still find them too expensive. But I hope more and more and people will buy them, so maybe the prices will drop down! :-)

  • Also, grow my own produce too – always good and free of any nasties.

  • I buy produce from the farmers market.
