  • I learnt the hard way years ago when the underwire damaged my machine & since then I always hook the bra’s up & put them in a laundry bag plus any item that may get tangled up in the wash like scarves, pantyhose.

  • I use laundry/bra bags and they do keep the bras in good shape and stop the hooks from catching on other clothes and protect under wires too.

  • I don’t know about keeping the bras in better condition but I mainly use so that the bra hooks don’t catch on my clothes. I also use the bags for stockings and tights so they don’t get tangled and caught up. I also finally use for super delicate clothes that I don’t need to hand wash but I don’t want to get catches in.

  • It also stops the hooks from getting cuaght in other washing too. If you do them up before putting them in the washing machine they may still come undone.

  • I am sure that the bra bags keep bras in good condition. No more twisted and stretched straps or strangely shaped cups. Definitely a good idea.

  • Yes I think they do but I hardly ever use mine. :/

  • Yes I always use mine! Once I didn’t and my bra ended up in the bin…bent clasps and wire all bent wrong.

  • I was never fussed on them till I had a repair bill for a stuck under wire and now I swear by them, also noticed a massive difference in how long my bras last

  • Yes they do, you should always do the hooks up first so that they cannot get hooked on anything else including the machine, and by using the bags if an underwire escapes then it can save you hundreds in repairs, washing machine repair men hate underwires, or more likely love them because they are a license to print money whilst they fix your machine, The bags are cheap compared to the damage that bras and other delicates can do to your machine, booties, g strings, and anything that could escape and get into the pipes of the machine should always go in these bags.

  • They truly do…I threw mine out due to wondering the same thing. But I have since found that without it, the bras lose shape easier and underwires come out….I will definitely be buying a new bag asap

  • I’ve lost my bag recently but before that yes I was. I’ve lost too many underwires without it!
