Is it casual or formal or are you thinking for children adults/ mixed

  • You could some tiny toy chickens and put green grass seeds around them as their food on a place mat or something similar. or perhaps colour some dessicated coconut with green food colouring. Friends of ours had a mould and used to make a marshmallow rabbit and put it on a board covered with alfoil and “green” coconut. It looked too pretty to eat.

  • We poke a hole in an egg and drain the egg out (make scrambled eggs) then paint and decorate the egg shells. They can look really lovely on a tray or in a bowl as a decorative centrepiece.

  • If you can get a basket and arrange some Easter eggs in it. It looks great in the middle of the table.

  • I’m big on easy, I wouldn’t even think of a table centre piece. But a basket full of Easter eggs with a chocolate chicken sitting on top…….kids would be impressed

  • Uh oh, oops, this one seems to be a tad late for Easter 2019. You’ll probably forget any suggestions made here by Easter 2020
