Hello!

I bought my daughter some plastic plates from nubi and they had the sticker on the inside of the plate. While I was washing it started coming off so I took it all off but now on that spot it’s really sticky how can I take it off? Also my daughter had a sticker on her clothes I didn’t see so I put it in the wash and now the pants are really sticky please help

  • Oh I hate stickers on plates and stuff I always leave them on cause i know I will make a mess of it


  • Eucalyptus oil dabbed onto the sticky glue will usually get it off without damaging the article.


  • Yes I use Orange Oil which you can buy from Coles or Woolworths and even the Reject Shop and Cheap as Chips. It is concentrated orange oil and you just wipe it over the sticker you need to remove, let it sit for 2 or 3 minutes and then the sticker will easily peel off or wipe away. It is like magic and is so very easy. It also is a marvel at anything sticky that needs removal.


  • Use a hair dyer on that sticker it. Ame off very smoothly and easily also i heard there is a solution for this purpose i don’t know the name


  • Bunnings sells a product called oomph and it is amazing to remove anything sticky, stickers even double sided foam tape


  • Eaculayptys is great just get s tissue and rub it and it will come off and be ad good as new


  • Eucalyptus oil or there’s a orange scented product specifically for removing stickers. Also nail polish remover works.

  • I use Tea Tree Oil and it works well to remove stickers on plates, books and toys. You can buy it at Woolworths or Coles supermarkets. Just dab a bit on some tissue paper and wipe over the sticker.


  • There is an orange essence you can but and it is brilliant in removing sticky residue! It’s called orange power and is in a small orange bottle. You can find it at most large retailers


  • Eucalyptus oil works well – but check the material of the plate/ pants first.
