  • I’d check with your local TAFE.

  • Our local TAFE used to do them.

  • No l leave that part up to my partner!

  • I did a car care course many many years ago through WEA (an adult education organisation). It was a night time course that ran for about six weeks. I would look into whether your local TAFE might run such courses.

  • What an awesome idea! My husband is a mechanic so im very lucky that he will be able to teach my daughter these things!

  • As well as the YouTube videos on car servicing and the TAFE courses you might find an adult education centre (like the WEA in South Australia) that offer basic car care and maintenance in evening classes or at weekend.

  • Classes with other people are good for group learning too.

  • There are online tutorials that are helpful for car care.

  • The RAC used to do short courses in basic car maintenance. Also the local TAFE had classes for them as well. It’s handy to know these things
