  • Lifeline! It really is a lifeline, you call up and it’s all totally private so you can really let it all out. Be kind to yourself, you’re not at your best but you will go there again one day

  • You are not useless or unworthy as you are going through loss and grief and is understandable that you feel sad and crappy . I hope your ankle is better now , could you ring a support line so that you will feel better by having someone to listen to . Hope you are able to reach out as there are people who care and want to help so don’t be afraid to seek help. Take care .

  • Reading your post is absolutely heart breaking & I can not begin to even imagine how you must be feeling.
You need to know that you mean a lot to your family & you are not useless or unappreciated.
You’re grieving which will bring about a lot of different emotions & then injuring yourself just makes it so much harder. Put aside some time for yourself to collect your thoughts, read a book, visit your loved ones graves, get your hair done, anything as long as it is YOUR time.
There are many different help lines you can call at all hours & remain anonymous & I am sure you will speak to a lovely person who could be of assistance to you in your time of need.
Seek out someone you are comfortable speaking with & share your feelings. Don’t keep it all bottled up.
I wish you all the best & am very sorry to hear of your loss.

  • it’s been awhile since you posted this so i’m really sorry for late reply and hope you are feeling better. I would recommend going to a councilor. your local community service should have a free one available with a bit of a waiting list. I went last year as I was going through the same thing and it really helped me in the long run. you would be amazed how just talking to someone that doesn’t know you can help you . i wish you good luck with this. I really know how it feels and it sucks when you are down in the dumps xxx

  • Well you have done the right thing by seeking help. Talk to somebody whether it be a councillor, or someone you trust, let them know how you feel. Maybe start to keep a diary or a journal. Try and find 10mins a day where you get you time and can just sit and enjoy the small things, :)

  • Go and see a GP. He could refer you to a psychologist. It could help you a lot! It’s normal to feel so low after all that happened to you. You can do it. Don’t give up!

  • I have started all this also just seen standstill but also, have other family causing more dramas now too which isn\’t helping but I\’m trying to keep chin up everyday and look at my beautiful family I have created.

  • I have battled with depression for 7 years, almost crying everyday. At last I admitted it to my Doctor and he arranged for me to meet with a pyschologist as part of a care plan which means I get 6 free visits. It has made a HUGE difference to be able to talk to a professional. I have also started an exercise and meal plan so losing weight for me and becoming fitter has also helped temendously.
