Hello!

I swear I’m just going insane.
Backstory to understand a little better – I was diagnosed in February 2018 with PCOS. In October 2018, my partner and I decided on trying again for a baby & was placed on Metformin. 2 weeks into taking Met, I had a normal period. I continued taking Met for another month before stopping as my partner and I were having a heavy rough patch and decided that it was best to put having a baby on hold. 3-4 weeks after not taking Met, could feel flutters but I brushed them off for about 3 weeks before going to the doctor. All tests negative, even home pregnancy tests. The “movement feeling” was on and off weekly. Fast forward to now, “movement feeling” is more regular and stronger – partner and mum have felt it & I can see it, as does my partner.
Not holding my breath for me being pregnant. Off to the doctors this weekend in hopes that it’s nothing serious.
Anyone else had this and what was the end result for you?
Or can someone give me an inkling on what is going on with my body?

  • I have had a similar experience just the past week. My tests were a very faint positive but when doing a blood test with the doctor it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy.

  • Are you able to request for an ultrasound at all

  • I didn’t feel baby flutters til at least the 4month mark of the pregnancy, so if you’re thinking you could be pregnant……..I wouldn’t count on it. Would love to know what the dr found to explain it tho

  • I think I was about 14 weeks when I started to feel movement with my babies. I hope that you have found out what is happening and that everything is okay :)

  • I only started getting fluttery movements in the early second trimester. You deff wouldn’t be able to see movement or have anyone else feel it so early if you are pregnant. Could it perhaps be a symptom related to you pcos? I think it’s a good idea that you are seeing the doctor again just to be sure.

  • At the stage of being able to feel some movements, you would well and truly get a positive test result. I’d be going to the doc. It’s very hard feeling hopeful – you read signs into everything. I’ve been there and felt that!

  • Have you found out yet?
I only got the fluttering feelings from about 15 weeks.
