Hello!

My washing machine is on its way out so I am starting to look at new ones I want a good one but honestly don’t know what to look at or where to start. I am hoping people could help by recommending me some and preferably ones I don’t have to sell my kidney to afford. It’s for a family of 4 . Thank you in advance to anyone who could comment and recommend.

  • I’ve a Samsung front loader and am happy with it.

  • We have Fisher & paykel

  • I use fisher and paykel it’s great

  • I’ve got a samsung front loader. While I love it being a front loader I’m not happy with the brand. So I wouldn’t recommend samsung! It doesn’t clean the light coloured clothes that great.

  • After always having top loaders I have just upgraded to a 8kg hisense front loader. It’s being used everyday and I absolutely can not fault it!

  • We just recently bought a Fisher and Paykle 8.5kg front loader and I’m really impressed with it. We got it during the sale and it was about 700. It has the add to load feature which is great and many different cycles to choose from. Compar3d to others it had a higher star and water rating which was why we picked it for out family of 4

  • Beko is my trusted brand, i have a 6.8kg machine and works a treat for my family

  • Fisher & Paykel have served me well till now and in the past with a medium sized family. Great washing machines that last for a long time.

  • Our previous washing machine was an Electrolux too. It was very good.
The Bosch I got is so incredibly silent. I love that. :-)

  • We’ve had our electrolux for many years. It has been great. I think decide what type (Front or Top), size and generally the features you are after and perhaps budget and create a shortlist using appliance websites (Good Guys, appliances online etc) then look at online reviews of your shortlisted machines. Also check our choice reviews if you can.

  • Recently my 13 years-old washing machine died. I had to buy a new one so I looked on Internet for inspiration. I had a front-load machine, and I knew I still wanted that one. I had a 5 kilo’s washing machine before (we are in 3 in our family) and I actually found it a little small, so I was looking for something bigger.
I ended up buying a Bosch 7 kg washing machine. This one. You can read the description and watch the video for more information. I hope this helps. https://www.appliancesonline.com.au/product/bosch-wak24162au-7kg-front-load-washing-machine
