  • Is that the same as an overactive thyroid? I had one that caused a goiter when i was 16 and cured it naturally by having iodine and seaweed.

  • Hi there,
recently I was finally diagnosed with a Thyroid condition- after more than a year of being made to feel like the symptoms that I had been giving to the Dr were all in my head!
Such a broad range of problems come with a irregular functioning Thyroid .
My level’s swayed between having a under then over active Thyroid so I was put on trial medication, I wanted to stay natural with no medication but had some debilitating outcomes from time of diagnosis that staying on the medication is working (atm)
I do follow food recommendations given in the book Your Thyroid problems solved by Dr Sandra Cabot but cannot say whether I’d be able to manage the severity of my Thyroid condition without medical treatment. That is not to say I haven’t found the whole process via the Dr and ‘specialist” frustrating but until I can find another Dr & Specialist I am sticking with the treatment.
I’d be curious to know whether any of the other Moms on here can recommend a non medicated way to treat this condition.
I hope things are going well for you.
