Hello!

Has anyone found a way to successfully use almond milk in coffee without it separating? I love the taste as a milk alternative.

  • I’ve heard almond milk is very sweet, even the unsweetened one, so I avoid adding sugar. There’s enough sweetness in the milk

  • Perhaps try waiting till the coffee cools down a little.

  • I use it and don’t have a problem with it separating. Maybe try another brand, this could help

  • I asked my Mum and she’s had no problem with the So Good almond milk. She adds the milk last.

  • I don’t like it so I don’t know, but hubby drinks it and he’s never complained about it separating.. Maybe try a different brand?

  • This is the first time I have ever heard of it separating, honestly I have had it before and it didn’t even separate when we found out it was off :/. I don’t remember the brand but I know it’s the one that makes milky milk or something like that.

  • may be it is the brand you have as my husband uses it and it does not separate. So perhaps try out a different brand?

  • I don’t have a frothier so heated in a pan and agitated with a bamix, it still separates but takes longer :) I’ve read alit of it is in the temperature?

  • i don’t use almond milk for anything

  • Oh asking a barista is the best idea! They should have some idea!

  • I would try and ask a Barista when you next go for coffee as they may be able to give you some tips!

  • Totally agree with the previous post about the milk frother, that way its a doubly special treat just like a cappuccino. Yum

  • I always took it to the coffee shop when I wanted a coffee at first and they heated it like any other milk so I decided to heat my milk with a frother and it seemed to split a lot less it at all.

  • No I have tried to like it but I just can’t.

  • I don’t drink coffee, but I use almond and coconut milk to prepare hot chocolate. And I love it.
