Hello!

Are they worth collecting and keeping for the children for future years?

  • I don’t buy any commemorative stuff for any Olympics. I suspect it’s so mass produced as to be worthless as an investment.

  • I was an avid stamp collector as a child but I didn’t encourage my child to collect stamps. Consequently I didn’t purchase any of the Commemorative stamp packs released.

  • Totally off my radar, didn’t even know they had done some.

  • No but a great idea though!

  • Havent done stamps, always thought about it. I did recently purchase 5 of the new 5 dollar notes that are uncirculated and also in a cosecutive run of 5. So Who knows, I wonder if they’ll be worth anything in say 20 years hehe. By then plastic notes probably won’t even exist. Its nice to think they might go up in value though.

  • The coins sound like a lovely commemorative idea too.

  • We havent bought stamps but got the coins – a family friend gives my children each year the coins that are released as their birthday presents. I think its a great little idea!

  • They would be a nice momento and increase in value. A nice piece of history.
    Love the idea of stamps.

  • No, can’t say I’ve noticed any. I would think they would increase with value as time passes. They would be nice to have
