Anyone made a star wars cake? Requested by master 7 for his birthday!

What were the easiest designs you’ve come across?

  • I made this one recently, soooo easy!

  • A friend of mine made a Darth Vader face mask cake – it was awesome. I don’t know where she got the recipe or cake mould from though.

  • You can buy edible cake decorations cheaply from eBay in a huge range of designs including Star Wars

  • This is the tinkerbell one

  • Yes I have. I’ve done a 3D r2d2 and a Yoda. The Yoda cake was just a slab and i drew him on it, like the tinkerbell photo

  • Any cake would be difficult. Have you considered making a cake and just adding an edible picture to it? You can buy all sorts of different pics at cake shops

  • My daughter wants to have a Star Wars party for her 5th birthday. I’m thinking of doing a death star cake with a normal round tin and then just shaping it like a half a death star not a full sphere. There’s also cake tins online for Darth Vader, R2D2 (probably the other choice I’ll think on) and others.

  • Thanks, I will take a look! ????

  • No, no Star Wars, sorry! :-) But give a look at this link in Instagram https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/starwarscakes/ I am sure you will find some ideas. :-)
