Hello!

I’m looking to start the Healthy Mummy Program but nervous I will spend the money on the shakes and won’t like them.

  • They are nice!! But it really depends of what you like

  • I’ve tried them, some are yummy with added fruits, I find the banana one is great on it’s own though

  • I love mine, but don’t have them just with milk or water. I make up smoothies using the healthy mummy recipes. Some are an acquired taste, but I’ve found my tastebuds have changed and I’m liking them more

  • you will just have to try them out (as everyones taste buds are different) until you find one you enjoy. good luck!

  • Never heard of it, did you try it yet ?

  • I have never made up my Healthy mummy smoothies by themselves so I couldn’t say if they taste good like that. I always buy the vanilla and blend it with fruit (banana and berries is a fav) or ginger (grated ginger and banana – tastes like gingerbread men) and it doesnt seem to matter what liquid make them up with. I have used coconut milk, coconut water, full cream milk, light milk, almond milk and tap water. All work out the same when mixed with fruit. Also if you blend them well and leave them for a few minutes before drinking it loses most of the grainy taste.

  • I found that I did not really like them. Made mine with Hi Low milk so that might be it but my daughter in law used full cream milk and never like it either (called it floury). Found it was better used in recipes and that is how I used up the rest of it.

  • I think ultimately that comes down to personal taste preferences. There are multiple flavours to choose from and you might love one but not others. They are good for you though and don’t have a bunch of unnecessary nasties. Maybe see if there are any Healthy mummy reps in your area and see if they will let you sample some flavours.

  • They’re pretty good. I can’t have one everyday but they are versatile which is great. Some people complain about it having a grainy feel but if you blend it enough then it shouldn’t be. If you want to use it as a meal replacement then you’d usually add other ingredients into the smoothie such as fruit and oats or seeds and the like.
I think the thing I like most about them is that they aren’t full of yucky stuff like some of the other brands. This page has good info about what is, and more importantly ISN’T in them.
