Hello!

I am looking for a hotel to stay at on the Sunshine Coast, one that isn’t too expensive but is near the beach and has room service if possible? It’s a surprise weekend away for my partners birthday but can’t seem to find many that have room service! Thanks!

  • Try looking on Trivago. Apparently, you type in all your requirements for accommodation and where you want it, and it finds you the best deal

  • Port Douglas has some beautiful hotels right on the beach with room service, but they are very expensive. An apartment in Palm Cove, one street back from the main st that we stayed In (Cassowary I think it was called) was great value and close to everything.

  • Try expediea and wotif, they have some great deals.

  • I actually use mystery hotels quite a lot. I stick with the 5 or 4.5 star hotels and haven’t been disappointed yet! Mostly I go to wotif for their mystery hotels. Makes it a nice surprise too.

  • there are some good comments here

  • Try http://www.airbnb.com cheaper than a hotel and more comfortable

  • Portabello by the sea on dicky beach… We love this place! Away from the hustle and bustle but still so close to so many wonderful restaurants and beaches

  • Where on the Sunshine Coast are you going? If your going as far as Noosa there are some great places, Mooloolaba we have stayed at Seaview Resort that was quite nice or the Mirage I think it was called. There are also nice places in Alexandra Headlands & Coolum but it really depends where you are going.

  • Hotel comparison sites such as Hotels.com will let you know if there is anything in your budget

  • Room service but not expensive…thats might be tough as you are talking a location thats popular all year round.
Hotels along Hastings Street Noosa would have room service but i they would be quite pricey.
I guess you will just have to head to google and send a few emails…good luck

  • There are so many as it is such a popular place to go

  • Half your luck. Sorry i cant help except to maybe suggest you ring the Tourist board of the Sunshine Coast, hope you find somewhere truly amazing :) enjoy

  • Why get room service? You should get a serviced apartment, ten make a nice candlelight dinner for just the two of you!
