Hello!

Any suggestions about what we can do to get her into her own room and sleeping in her own bed at night?

  • Self soothing is very important. Get a good routine happening, it will be hard starting at age 3 but persevere. Read a bed time story and firming say it’s time for bed now and leave the room and close the door. You will probably get tears and tantrums at that age but don’t give up. Go in at intervals and gently place back in bed and walk out. Your child will eventually sleep, but it won’t be easy at first.

  • Get her excited about it, turn it into an adventure. And persevere, it will take a while but you will get there if you stick with it

  • be firm with her do not go crook at her just be gentle but firm in putting her in her own bed sit and read her a story but make sure she is tired let her have her time running around during the day so she will be tired at night
