Hello!

Before my first pregnancy I had the luxury of going to the gym and swimming around my work schedule. Now, like all mothers, we either have to give up sleep for a decent workout or incorporate it into our day.

  • Does your gym have the option of child minding facilities whilst you workout? As your child ages, you could incorporate a workout running and climbing at a playground with your child.

  • Walking, biking, running after the kids, exercises at home etc

  • I walked a lot and that helped.

  • Start slowly, daily walks with your bub, after 6-8 weeks you can start with sit ups etc if YOU feel that you’re ready :)

  • take it slow and take bub for walks

  • I’m very lucky that Bub is a good sleeper and I go to the gym in the morning after her feed and play time. She just sleeps in the pram whilst I workout. That said if I’m exhausted I don’t go to the gym and catch up on some sleep but go for a walk in the afternoon with Bub in the pram. I find if I eat healthy then I feel good also. Drink lots of water too.

  • I did a lot of walking with the baby in the pram.It worked quite well.I didn’t follow any diet , but when the little one was almost one year old I could fit in same of the old clothes before pregnancy.

  • instead of putting baby into a cot to sleep, put them into a pram and go for a walk for an hour. rather than drive to shops that are nearby, take the baby in the pram

i dot know how people dont find time to exercise after having a baby considering that the baby sleeps most of the time

  • I stopped worrying about it. I go for walks with the baby in the pram when I can but I am usually so busy I don’t have time for much. Having said that I don’t drive so I walk a lot more than the average person.
