Can you rock and bottle him in his own bed? Once he falls asleep there he should be okay.
Another little trick is to put something that smells like you in his bed for when they stir or wake up through the night – like the pillow/pillow case you’ve been using or the sweater you wore that day

Put a TV in his room & put on his best show.

I found that sometimes you just have to do what works, to keep everyone happy, and to save your sanity. He was probably picking up on the fact that things were about to change and he wasn’t going to be the baby of the family anymore.

If he hers that distressed is it really that important to b in his own bed? It won’t be long and he will b too old to sleep next to u.

Hope you managed to find a solution and all is going well with the new addition to the family! My daughter was in the terrible habit of being rocked to sleep when she was younger and the only way we could end it was to lay with her in her bed while she went to sleep.

How old is he? At age 2 they tend to b like that as its terrible twos!
