We wear clothes that keep us warm which includes bed clothes – nighties and pjs. Lots of layering with dressing gowns, socks and slippers when out of bed. We only use our heater during the day and only on low. When feeling cold it is good to do an activity that warms up the body, which can be indoor or outdoor play and games. If sitting on the couch reading maybe a throw rug or blanket.
