Hello!

Does anyone know how to get pencil marks, texta marks and paint out of a frosted glass dining table? Thanks.

  • make a paste of vinegar and baking soda – a brilliant cleaner

  • I use eucalyptus oil on a cloth or cotton. It doesn’t take much as it’s very strong. I hope you find this handy :-)

  • Okay, I purchased the magic white sponge and it got rid of most of it. There is a patch where my son has scrubbed a candle on it and it’s not coming off, so I’ll try the WD40 or the meth spirits.

  • Methylated Spirits ior Turpentine in water may get rid of it on glass. Depending on the type of paint the turps should get it off too. It may depend what you have already attempted to get if off with. You will need to ventilate the rooms though as both of them have strong smells.
Are they waterproof textas or washable. The washable markers I have washed off a wall and a vinyl floor with wash up detergent. The kids were drawing on paper and it went through onto the floor. Some of it I did find for a week or so as it was brown marker on a brown floor. I bet the kids didn’t do it behind a door where it doesn’t show as much. One of my nieces did it on a newly painted wall (painting only finished a week before), fortunately behind her bedroom door.

  • I would try a white Magic sponge, they have worked wonder on my walls throughout my house as the kids have had a feild day drawing on the walls one day with textas and pens. It came off with minimum work, I have also used it on my kids fake leather couches to get texta off them. I have also in the the past used it on a glass mirror to get texta off it. Some of the brands of cleaning sponges do work better than others but this one worked a treat for me. I would love to know what you have found that worked to get the stains out for you.

  • WD40! It’s amazing what this stuff can be used for!
