How has everyone else weaned their toddlers from breastfeeding?

Hello!

My DD will be 2 in just over 2mths time and I have tried everything from offering expressed milk, cows milk, have tried every formula on the market for her age and all bottles and sippy cups but she refuses it all. With having 3 older children it’s starting to feel like an extra chore needing to do and I’m exhausted.

No real advice just wanted to let you know you aren’t alone. My 2yo is exactly the same. I guess for them its so much more than milk.. and there’s no way my LO is ready to give it up just yet. I’ve been trying to cut her down slowly using distraction etc which was going ok – until she got sick/ Then that went out the window because it was the only thing she’d have at all. I’ll try again soon. Good luck!

Wow you’ve done so well to breast feed for so long. Mine were well and truly weaned by then. My first had to go into hospital at 9 months so that’s how he weaned
