Hello!

I have a big male and a little male and I’m curious as to why am I seeing urine splatters on the walls? I tried to use general cleaning spray but the urine is stronger. It does make my toilet room a bit smelly even though I’ve bleached the toilet often. I do have other big males using the toilet when they come over for few drinks.
What do you recommend to clean the walls with?

  • Baking powder and vinegar will help with the smell, or windex (Greek fat wedding) lol. Wee is one of those horrible smells and will only get stronger over time if not dealt with. It may also have penetrated into the wall, which is why vinegar can be useful as it neutilisers the odour. Good luck!

  • Thank you, Moms, for all the terrific ideas of cleaning the bathroom urine splattered wall by the toilet. Got some great advice but where do you buy sugar soap, I have never heard of it before….

  • Thanks for all the comments, but where do you buy sugar soap?

  • get some nil odour and wipe it on – also get them to put the seat down when they flush, as the splashing water out of the bowl we cannot see and lands on walls and floors blagghh

  • Mix white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Give it to big male and tell him to clean it. Next put a ping pong ball in the toilet. No male can resist trying to sink it and it will prevent overshooting the mark….

  • i have one of those dettol mops with the wipes… i use it to clean everything from floors to walls to cupboard doors… i would use this to clean the walls/tiles next to the toilet as well

  • Bleach! Only thing with bleach is you’ll probably end up,having to wash while wall or be left with a whiter then the rest patch on wall. Try and find out the offender, bit yucky if it’s an adult male :/

  • Vinegar and bleach works very well, I have found.

  • Sugar soap or warm water and bleach seems to work a treat :)

  • I also find sugar soap works a treat with walls.

  • My boys are better now they are older but there is still a strong smell in their toilet.. I used warm water and bleach on the walls and we don’t have marks on the walls.

  • Bleach, and I use the orange based spray cleaner to clean the walls ( I have tiles) I find this leaves a nice smell and the bleach seems to have killed the initial problem, I also have a spray deodorant in there as well, I cannot believe that this happens, I thought it was just me, I put it down to the one that is not circumcised as he sprays everywhere, the other 2 are done and I have no problems with them, Mine are all different due to medical reasons, but I think toilet cleaning is a good reason for circumcising all boys!!!

  • i’d say sugar soap too. maybe get one of those toilet training things you put into the toilets for boys for aiming practise, it might help the older boys too!

  • Keep a packet of baby wipes and ask the gents to clean up after themselves or sit down!

  • Also; maybe get the ‘lads’ to clean the walls too! ;) Maybe they will improve their aim! ;)
